"Virchows Archiv" is a medium for the publication of fundamental morphological research on disease in the widest sense and on human pathology in particular. Articles concerned with surgical pathology, experimental morphology, ultrastructural research, immunocytochemical analysis, and molecular biology are published, provided they illuminate some facet of human pathology.
