Doctor Muin S.A. Tuffaha In 1986, Dr. Tuffaha achieved the MD degree in General Medicine with honors from the Medical Institute Kiev, USSR. 1993 he passed the German Board in Pathology and continued as a specialist in pathology at the Institute of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine of the Technical University Dresden. In 1995, he became the Deputy Head of the Department of Head and Neck Pathology at the University of Hamburg. In 2003, he attained a subspecialty in molecular pathology.
Since 2010, Dr. Tuffaha has been the Head of the Institute of Pathology at the Carl-Thiem Teaching Hospital affiliated with the Medical Faculty Charité Berlin. Additionally, he received an honorary Professorship from the Kiev Medical University of UAFM.
Professor Glen Kristiansen is a full professor of pathology and chair of the Institute of Pathology, University Bonn, Germany since 2011. From 2007 to 2011, he was a professor of molecular tumor pathology and head of the Immunohistochemistry Laboratory at the Institute of Surgical Pathology, University of Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to that, he had worked at the Institutes of Pathology, Free University of Berlin and Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Berlin, Germany (1996-2007). In 2010, he broadened his skills at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital Medical Center, Los Angeles, USA. Professor Kristiansen is an expert for genitourinary pathology, he has authored or co-authored more than 500 scientific publications and is an acclaimed speaker at international congresses.Professor Hans Guski was appointed full professor of pathology in 1994 and was deputy director and prosector of the Institute of Pathology of the Medical Faculty (Charité) of the Humboldt University in Berlin. He was author or co-author of more than 300 scientific publications and mentor to almost 80 doctoral students from Germany and abroad (Angola, Congo, Cuba, Jordan, Syria, Mongolia, USSR and Russia respectively). In 1996 he received an honorary doctorate
(Dr. h. c.) from the University of Saransk, Russia, and in 2004 a guest professorship from the University of Havana, Cuba. After leaving the Institute of Pathology at the Charité in 2005, he continued to work in various clinics, and from 2016 to now at the Vivantes Klinikum Berlin Neukölln as diagnostic pathologist, prosector and mentor of young residents and doctoral students.
